When looking for your puppy please speak to at least a few breeders; they will be happy to discuss all aspects of owning the breed, both positive and negative, even if they don't have puppies available. This is a numerically small breed and you should be prepared to wait for the right puppy to come along. Most PON breeders follow the Club's Code of Ethics and have the health of the breed at heart. This means they place strong emphasis on fitness for function, soundness of temperament, genetic diversity and overall genetic and physical health.
Or puppy/rescue co-ordinator Christine Burdett-Coutts keeps details of responsible breeders with puppies available.
